Around the Flatiron

Trader Joe’s: 675 Sixth Ave, New York, NY

I am always thrilled to discover another TJ’s in the city! This one like all of them can get super packed, but the line is managed efficiently by store staff. See my TJ’s favorite for recommendations and what I usually buy!

I have a pretty unhealthy obsession with paper products of all kinds. This store was an accidental find and I had to leave quickly so I didn’t spend a fortune… Like Paper Source on steroids! Sadly their online selection isn’t as amazing as what they have in store.

If I could design my dream closet it would look like the decor of the Club Monaco Flagship. Oh and the clothes too, it was hard to find something I didn’t want. The only issue is it can be cost prohibitive. I found that items on sale or basics are good unless you are prepared to splurge on a special piece. However, it is an excellent spot for style inspiration and just general enjoyment of the ambiance and amazing treatment from the sales staff.

DO NOT leave this area of the city without at least browsing in Eataly! The shop and bar areas take up an entire block filled with Italian delicacies. If you have more time to spare, get a table on the rooftop!
