March: For us teachers it usually means spring break at the end of the month and heading into the homestretch of the school year. For me that means travel North to visit my family and often time to get my garden back up and running as well as deep clean the apartment. Depending on the year, as I am this year, I’m also preparing mentally, physically and nutritionally to compete in April. As the month winds down here’s what I’ve been up to at a glance.
What I’m Reading:
- The Last Castle, Denise Kiernan
- Bachelor Nation, Amy Kauffman
What I’m Wearing:
- soft pinks (welcoming spring with pale pink tops, nails, jeans and sneakers)
- layers (weather in Northern Virginia can be whack, time for lots of light sweaters over tees)
- transitional pieces (tops and dresses that can be worn with long pants and tights now on chilly days and with shorts or on their own later in the season!)

- “Mine,” Bazzi
